Our take
If you are going to Banff, you ski Louise at least once because the picture is the trip. It is not a better first-timer mountain than Tremblant or Smugglers'. It is the scenery half of a Canadian Rockies week.
Perfect if
- Ikon families on a Banff week with skiing kids.
- Sunshine as the other day.
- A family that came for the park, not for ski-out.
Skip if
- Infant care on winter rates we have not confirmed.
- Underdressing.
- A first international trip with a 4-year-old — Tremblant is easier software.
Biggest tradeoffThe postcard, a bus from town, winter daycare rates unconfirmed. Banff is the destination; Louise is a ski day.

What six days on snow costs
Family of four: window tickets × 6, rentals × 6, one 3-day kids' lesson block. Not a week — lodging isn't in our data, so it isn't in this number.
This page doesn't have dollar ranges we can add. We will not invent a six-day total.
