We know this unit. That is the unglamorous advantage. Boots dry in the same corner, groceries from Smith's, kids in the pool at 4:10 because that is when the tears start if you don't. Park City Mountain is a short hop. Deer Valley is a longer hop we didn't take this time because the Epic Pass was already paid for.
Ski school
Signature at the base. Two kids, two different levels, same pickup. Holiday-adjacent Saturday was a mess; Tuesday was a breeze. The instructor notes were actually useful — 'still sitting back, loved the carpet, ready for Bonanza tomorrow if the wind drops.'
What we'd change
We still over-skied day one. We still bought one on-mountain lunch we resented. We would book Tuesday–Thursday lessons next time and leave the weekend for family skiing on First Time when the lines thin after 11.
