The lake from the ridge is rude. You stop, you take a photo that cannot do it, you ski a long cruiser that would be average anywhere else. Then the wind picks up and the gondola pauses and you remember Tahoe writes the itinerary.
With kids
Stay near the village. Use Adventure Peak when someone is done. Don't plan a Palisades day trip on the same week unless the kids are older and the weather is boring. We ate well, we skied less than the map suggested, we would go back on Epic without pretending it is Deer Valley.
